We have an opportunity for a Maintenance Planner to join our highly skilled engineering team at Holford Gas Storage. As part of the UK critical infrastructure, this modern and highly automated facility is a key player in the UK energy portfolio.

What we are looking for

You will:

  • Work closely with the engineering team and lead on cost optimisation and resource planning for maintenance and engineering activities
  • use our maintenance  management system (SAP PM) to drive best practise maintenance activities
  • develop and optimise outage plans using best available planning techniques.
  • be responsible for the accuracy and management of the engineering stores ( including managing a stores person)

 

 

Who we are seeking

Essential

 

  • a proactive hands-on approach
  • ability to engage and communicate effectively with all stakeholders
  • engineering or manufacturing background
  • experience in Maintenance Management systems ( preferably SAP PM)
  • strong on attention to detail
  • an organised and systematic approach


Desirable:

  • Experience in business excellence tools
  • A safety management qualification
  • Confidence to challenge established practises and suggest imaginative solutions
