Senior Solution Architect - MS PowerPlatform

Your responsibilities

 

  • Be responsible for the Microsoft PowerPlatform (PowerApps, PowerBI, CoPilot Studio) technical architecture and roadmap
  • Take on responsibility for the technical design of mid-scale (up to million €), complex projects involving multiple additions/modifications to the architecture
  • Have supervisory responsibility for technical resources working on different work streams within a project or programme, ensuring that the design and technical standards are coherent across those work streams
  • Ensure technical solutions are consistent with the wider IT strategy and comply with the relevant IT standards
  • Balance day-to-day project work with ownership of the strategic direction for automation and low-code landscape, matching business strategy with an IT applications strategy to help delivery this goal, and working with other Architects team to ensure unity of approach
  • Be active in an expert capacity in promoting best practices for low-code and automation within all IT delivery areas
  • Deputise for service owners in ensuring delivery of application change and operational support as required 
 

 

Your profile


  • Strong educational background, preferably to degree level or equivalent
  • Considerable experience of the full development lifecycle of PowerPlatform solutions from initial architecture and design through to service enabling and transition
  • Knowledge of Microsoft PowerPlatform application architecture design techniques and best practice in an Azure environment (PL900/600 certification desired) including implementation of COE Toolkit, devops, pipelines, ALM, Azure Service Principals
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical details in non-technical terms, to influence senior stakeholders in the solution design, and to facilitate workshops and presentations in a confident manner.
  • Mentoring and coaching skills to enhance the development capability within the team and department
  • Ability to keep pace with external trends and policies for low-code and automation and to define technical roadmaps accordingly
