What we are looking for

Working for our Asset Performance Monitoring services you will:

  • Work alongside performance, condition, maintenance and risk experts, to monitor, investigate, and recommend appropriate actions for site teams to take to resolve plant performance issues.
  • Have close contact with operations and engineering teams at asset locations on an ongoing basis to ensure they are getting value from the service.
  • Work with new customers, identify their problems and onboard them to our monitoring systems quickly and effectively.
  • Work across multiple technologies, and serve customers across multiple countries around the world.
  • Know when to and seek specialist support from the wider Uniper Technologies departments to support with client problems, promoting extra consultancy work as appropriate.
  • Support colleagues in developing the products and service to drive improvements in areas such as: Quality assurance, best practice guidelines and product development.
  • Take the lead on consultancy projects as required.
  • Support the technical development of other monitoring staff.
  • Be willing to occasionally work outside of UK office hours to support customers in other time zones.



Who we are seeking


  • A detailed understanding of the operations of coal plant.
  • High level of diligence.
  • Self-starter and take ownership and accountability for ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • A proven ability to identify and analyse situations by isolating key issues, evaluating relevant data and drawing appropriate conclusions.
  • Able to communicate findings and recommendations effectively and concisely.
  • Able to deal with activities for which there is no set precedent.
  • Commercially aware & understands the environment in which they operate.
  • Required to work flexibly and take on additional activities within capability and competence.
  • Have a strong commitment to your own development and be willing to train and coach others, sharing your experience and expertise.
  • Tenacity and determination.
  • A belief in the possibilities of what can be achieved with digital technology.



  • Strong understanding of thermodynamics.
  • A broad knowledge and experience of maintenance processes and activities.
  • A detailed understanding of the operations of gas/renewables plant.
