Uniper seeks a Quantitative Structuring Analyst to join its North American team.

What we are looking for

Delivery of timely, accurate, and transparent structuring & pricing to commercial team

Coordinating validation & deal booking with risk & other internal groups

Work with team members to expand development of statistical and fundamental pricing models as well as enhance standardized valuation tools for traders & originators

Collaborate with fundamental analysts to incorporate market views including load model & supply stack refinements

Establish & maintain high standards of professionalism & quantitative rigor

Help train & develop rising talent



Who we are seeking

Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, computer science or other related field; graduate degree highly encouraged.

At least 2 years of professional experience or equivalent graduate studies in the field of energy markets and/or quantitative financial analysis.

Proficiency in MS Office Suite and strong programming skills in Python or similar

Experience with industry tools and data sources such as EV, Yes, Genscape, Promod, Aurora, Platts, IHS, etc.

Teamwork – develop effective relationships with colleagues within UGCNA and Uniper Group. Provide constructive feedback, and express appreciation of others’ contributions.

Strong communication skills, especially in a business context

Ethics – work in accordance with Code of Conduct and established regulatory standards
