Senior Electrical Engineer Grid Connection and Substations (f/m/d)
We are looking for electrical reinforcement for our Electrical & C&I Engineering department in Gelsenkirchen to support the development of growth projects for implementing the Uniper Green Customer strategy.

Your responsibilities
- Control of approval processes and preparation of technical documents for grid connections at the respective grid voltage level
- Technical engineering (basic and detail engineering) for grid connection concepts, including energy supply concepts for energy generation and energy consumption systems, as well as grid reserve connections
- Planning of extra-high, high, and medium voltage switchgears and substations
- Basic and detail engineering, including the preparation of tender documents for the respective project (electricity generation; gas and hydrogen technologies)
- Project management and coordination, taking into account the relevant technical rules, Grid Codes, norms, and project management strategies (on construction sites, for new and existing power plants, substations, grids, customer assets, etc., both domestic and foreign)
Your profile
- At least 6 years of professional experience in the grid sector (TSO or DSO) in the planning and construction of grid substations. Knowledge of grid operator processes. Completed vocational training is an advantage.
- Experience in dealing with suppliers (technical and commercial)
- Project management experience (national and international)
- Strong process orientation, as well as a high sense of quality and responsibility
- Team player
- Fluent in German and English; other languages are welcome
- Very good organizational skills and a structured way of working
- Willingness to travel
