Our Asset Parameter Optimization department in Düsseldorf is looking for a working student (f/m/d).

What we are looking for

We are looking for a working student to join our international team for one year for getting the first working experience as Data Manager

  • Devise and implement efficient and secure procedures for data handling and analysis
  • Establish rules and procedures for data sharing with upper management, external stakeholders etc.
  • Assist with calculations, reports and data extraction: Finance Monthly Closing
  • Support the generation systems streamlining working on Master Data Maintenance
  • Support senior generation analyst on Marktstammdatenregister maintenance stablishing good collaboration with Asset Base Contract and external counterparties
  • Support business analysts on digital use cases implementation in Snowflake Data Base establishing a strong working interface with the Digital Program COODE
  • Implement new reporting specification using first class IT visualization tools (Tableau and Power BI)

 

 

Who we are seeking

  • Studies in engineering, data science, business administration or equivalent
  • Interested in getting a good understanding of Uniper’s business
  • Exposure to foreign cultures and languages
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Access, Word etc.)
  • Show your technical and operational expertise as well as your entrepreneurial thinking
  • A strong will in taking over responsibility and improving structures and processes
  • Strive to work together in teams and very good communication skills
  • Highly proactive and mobile with a hands-on and self-reflective personality
  • Abstract thinking to understand data base processes
  • Good programming skills (VBA, SQL) and excellent knowledge of Office. Python is a plus
  • Very good written and verbal German and English language skills
