Your responsibilities

 

  • Oversee/Manage the implementation of the transition roadmap from the CSRD project to ensure future compliance and continuous improvement
  • Manage the integration of upcoming additional regulations related to CSRD (phase-in indicators in 2025, additional sector-specific standards starting in 2026) and forthcoming EU directives into Uniper’s organization and processes.
  • Ensure timely adaptation to regulatory changes
  • Contribution to sustainability reporting compliance at Uniper in all aspects of the yearly reporting cycle as well as future compliance needs
  • Provide support on planning, milestone management, scope management, resource forecasting, and stakeholder analysis, as well as establishing communication streams.
  • Support team members and team lead towards continuous progress monitoring. Update and maintain relevant progress tracking tools, logs and register
  • Coordinate interfaces with essential stakeholders across various hierarchical levels and prepare regular status reports for relevant governance bodies. Ensure transparent communication and effective collaboration between stakeholders
  • Manage scope definition for, tendering of, and interfaces with external consultants together with the Sustainability Reporting and Stakeholder Engagement Team and Procurement
  • Build cohesion within the team and promote a productive working environment to deliver quality work
 

 

Your profile


  • University degree in either Sustainability or Environmental Sciences, Energy, Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field
  • Proven track record in project management in a corporate environment and in operational excellence tools and methods; certification a plus
  • Proven experience in change management, including leading transitions, mitigating resistance, and fostering continuous improvement. Change management certification (e.g., Prosci) is a plus
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines
  • Excellent oral and written communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Good understanding of Uniper’s organizational structure, different businesses, and their specific challenges
  • Knowledge of CSRD  and sustainability regulations in Germany, EU and the UK as well as other sustainability related policies & strategies desirable
  • Fluent in English and German. Any other languages are a plus
