What we are looking for

•    Acting as a Product Expert for Wholesale commodity products. Foster permanently in-depth knowledge of sales products, their processing, contracts, commercial impacts and marketability
•    Development and standardization of new sales products, feasibility studies of special solutions for individual customer requests
•    To bring them through the approval process you create detailed concepts of the product, coordinate and align with other departments, implement them in systems and create the customer contracts for these products
•    Short-term development and clarification of individual supply concepts within the framework of special solutions
•    Advise operative sales teams in all topics regarding the commodity product portfolio (design, price levers, green impacts, risks, income, …)
•    Development and alignment of pricing model solutions – manage complex theoretical questions, ensure high efficient process implementation as well as contract creation taking into account the regulatory guidelines 
•    Clarification of technical system implementation of delivery concepts
•    Collaboration or lead of cross company projects
•    Work closely as a business expert with Gas and Power portfolio and pricing teams, Operations and Key account management, Legal and Market Risk and Digital Business
•    Build up and maintain relationships and interfaces within Uniper 



Who we are seeking

•    University Degree in economics, energy and environmental engineering, law or equivalent degree and qualification
•    At least 3 years’ s relevant working experience in commodity wholesale markets
•    High degree of creativity and self-motivation to develop new product ideas/leads
•    Commercial focus and the ability to deliver a high standard under time pressure
•    Pragmatic mentality working from strategic down to operational topics 
•    Highly developed analytical skills as well as a structured, independent and accurate way of working combined with good assertiveness and high goal orientation 
•    Excellent communication skills to communicate at all levels in the organization in an international environment
•    Willingness to travel in Germany 
•    Fluent in written and spoken German and English, other additional Languages welcome
