Your responsibilities

• Responsible for regular and ad-hoc finance reporting / analyses to controlling and accounting teams for Power/ Carbon activities, aiming at explaining developments and creating insight
• Delivering accurate, timely and relevant information and related analysis for the reportable activities
• Responsible for coordinating the implementation of new energy products into our IT landscape from a reporting perspective
• Proactively identifying and resolving issues that may impact timelines and/or deliverables
• Identifying lessons learned and opportunities for improvement
• Presenting findings and recommendations to senior management and other key stakeholders
• Passionate about and actively improving data flows via automation, AI, or any other feasible way
• Taking full ownership for all the above

Your profile

• University education in the areas of Computer Science/Business Administration/ Economics/Finance/ Engineering (or comparable)
• Relevant working experience, ideally in IT, financial reporting and analysis, energy markets and trading
• Keen interest in new products, commodities and trends in the energy markets
• Structured, target- and solution-oriented approach with the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail, at times under time pressure
• Proficient in or eager to learn and carry out automation initiatives
• Being able and enjoy working both autonomously and within a team
• Excellent communication skills, high degree of assertiveness, stress-
• Drive to proactively take ownership of initiatives and projects
• Relevant experience in project lead & management and stakeholder management
• Proficient knowledge in MS Office skills (Excel is a must), and ideally in SQL and PowerBI
• Fluent in written and spoken English, knowledge of additional languages would be a plus
