What we are looking for

Become a key part of the Asset Based Contract team and manage together with our customers the energy transition achieving a high security of supply in combination carbon reduction!


  • Identify potential new customers and asset based business opportunities for our utility products, e.g. process steam and power
  • Expand business options for existing Uniper sites as well as for the following industries: e.g. chemical, pulp & paper, oil and gas
  • Develop, maintain and expand close customer relationship for the sales of asset-capacity in Germany
  • Unique opportunity to work closely with the several Uniper teams including the technical project team to develop individual commercial solutions for customer needs
  • Collaborate with decarbonization and green energy initiatives of Uniper to develop solutions, which helps customers to become greener
  • Negotiate and support the process until potential contract closing and manage and maintain contract during lifetime
  • Build and further expand your industry network including local stakeholder and authorities
  • Align and collaborate with other Uniper sales units to ensure efficient customer approach and best practice



Who we are seeking

  • University degree in Engineering or Business Administration with a track record in contracting business, technology and or engineering related sales
  • Background in sales/origination and/or project management with significant experience in minimum one of the above-mentioned industries
  • Excellent understanding of the local industries in Germany with a resilient network and competency in energy economics
  • Strong commercial mindset and deal-orientation
  • Demonstrated ability of dealing with highly complex transactions within the energy and industrial space
  • High performer acting as an entrepreneur with a strong focus on results demonstrating a can-do mentality and keeping a close eye on customer needs
  • Ability to manage a complex network of stakeholders from e.g. customers, partners, and local authorities at all hierarchy levels
  • Fluency in German and English; other languages are a plus
