What we are looking for

  • Identify potential new industrial customers and asset based business opportunities for our utility products, e.g. process steam and power, with focus on the chemical, pulp & paper and oil and gas industries.
  • Develop, maintain and expand close customer relationship for the sales of steam triggered asset-based contracts in Germany
  • Develop commercial solutions for customer needs working closely with the respective Uniper local teams and the technical project team
  • Contribute to Uniper’s decarbonization and green energy initiatives to develop new carbon reduction solutions for our customers
  • Negotiate and support the process until potential contract closing and manage and maintain contract during lifetime
  • Build and further expand your industry network as well as with local stakeholder including authorities
  • Align and collaborate with regional sales units to ensure efficient customer approach and best practice

 

 

Who we are seeking

  • University degree in Engineering or Business Administration with a track record in contracting business, technology and or engineering related sales.
  • The ideal candidate for this position is a sales / origination manager, who has significant experience in minimum one of the above-mentioned industries
  • Excellent understanding of the local industries in Germany with a resilient network and competency in energy economics
  • Strong commercial mindset and deal-orientation
  • Demonstrated ability of dealing with highly complex transactions within the energy and industrial space
  • High performer acting as an entrepreneur with a strong focus on results demonstrating a can-do mentality and keeping a close eye on customer needs.
  • Ability to manage a complex network of stakeholders from e.g. customers, partners, and local authorities at all hierarchy levels.
  • Fluency in German and English; other languages as a plus.
