What we are looking for

  • Providing comprehensive antitrust law advice to the entire Uniper group, particularly in support of Uniper’s operational businesses
  • Supporting the Uniper sales business with respect to issues related to antitrust law
  • Pursuing cartel damage claims out of court as well as in court
  • Supporting Uniper’s antitrust law compliance measures whilst continuously improving the antitrust law part of Uniper’s general compliance management system
  • Representing Uniper before national and international antitrust authorities
  • Representing Uniper in national and international merger control proceedings
  • Providing antitrust law support in litigation and arbitration proceedings
  • Closely cooperating with the global Uniper businesses through active participation in projects
  • Steering of external lawyers

 

 

Who we are seeking

  • Fully qualified law degree with excellent qualifications, preferably German qualified lawyer (f/m/d)
  • Relevant professional experience in a corporate environment or international law firm a plus
  • Experience or specific interest in the energy industry
  • Highly developed business acumen and strong analytical skills paired with the ability to explain complex issues in easy words
  • Confident manner, high level of personal initiative and assertiveness
  • Strong team player
  • Ability to manage processes in complex organizations
  • Willingness to become acquainted with new areas of legal expertise and new and complex matters
  • Excellent in German and English both written and spoken

 


This position is limited for two years.
